Asian Migrant and Refugee Mental Health & Addictions

 

To improve service responsiveness for Asian migrant and refugee service users, NDSA has set up a Regional Mental Health & Addictions Advisory Group in 2006 to provide expert advice and leadership on the implementation of the regional strategy formulated for Asian, migrant and refugee service users.

 

The advisory group is made up of representatives from the three metropolitan District Health Boards, Primary Health Organisations, Non-Government Organisations, settlement-related agencies, national workforce development agency, practitioners, and Asian, migrant and refugee communities in the Auckland region.
