District Health Board

Waitemata has developed strong community involvment in the development and provision of Mental Health and addiction services through the the Shared Vision Forums in Waitakere, North Harbour and Rodney.

Members from the Shared Visons, provider arm, Non Government Organisations, make up the Waitemata stakeholder network which meets monthly.

The Stakeholder network meets the week before Network North Coalition, to ensure that the issues can be brought to the table at each level with a relatively quick turn around.

The combined stakeholder network play a key role in informing the District Annual Plan.
