Welcome to Northern Region Mental Health and Addictions Resource Centre

The Northern Region mental health and addiction services have developed a collaborative and inclusive way of working together, including sharing knowledge, information and resources. The network that was previously known as Network North is now a resource centre supported the Northern Regional Alliance mental health and addictions team.

This website has been designed to assist stakeholders to achieve better outcomes across the Northern Region by continually improving the quality of mental health and addiction services. On it, you will find all your old Network North resources and information – as well as information on exciting new developments and services.

Whats New!

  • The 4 Northern DHBs are working together to provide better support to mothers with acute mental health and or addiction needs and their infants via the Northern Region Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Project (Acute focus) project.  Click on the above link for further information and updates on this project.
  • The Northern Regional Alliance has been engaged by the two Northern and Midland Regions, with support from the Ministry of Health, to develop a revised Eating Disorders Service Model.  Please click here for further information.
