There are many excellent smokefree resources available in New Zealand and internationally. Here are links to online versions and information about how to obtain hard copies of these resources.
Information and Support
Pamphlets, posters, stickers etc (Ministry of Health Resources)
Pamphlets, posters, stickers, leaflets, teaching kits, videos and other health promotion publications can be ordered free of charge through the Health Education Website.
Several of the most popular resources are the pamplets:
- The Quit Book- For people who have made the decision to give up smoking.
- Relapse/ Matahoki- For use with relapsed smokers.
- Having a smoke….. Have a think- For people who smoke who’re thinking about giving up smoking.
You can also obtain copies by visiting the Resource Centre (open weekdays 8.30am-4.30pm)

Regulations and Signage
The Ministry of Health produces a range of resources related to regulations and signage (accessed through the Health Education Website) as does the Health Sponsorship Council.
