  • Lets get real

Let's get real is a framework that describes the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes required to deliver effective mental health and addiction treatment services.

Over the next two years, mental health and addiction services and education/training providers will be implementing Let’s get real into their organisations and courses/programmes.  Implementation is focused on bringing the Real Skills and their associated values and attitudes into organisational systems, processes and training. The Te Pou team and the regional workforce coordinator will be supporting the implementation of Let’s get real

Please contact either Emma Wood, Te Pou or Raewyn Harrison, Regional Coordinator for further information.

  • Co-existing problems

Matua Raki  are planning to deliver CEP Formulation workshops in the Northern Region in the early part of 2011.  The workshops are intended to introduce the wider addiction and mental health workforce to a conceptual framework that enhances the process of comprehensive assessment and treatment planning when working with people who have co-existing mental health and substance use problems.
